"For me, ash is the only earthly element that takes care of the exact fusion of the four elements: ? fire burns the earthly element (vegetable, mineral, animal) fanned by the wind to be extinguished by the rain and thus makes it heavenly and almost unreal, sacred.

So for me, ash is strength, essence, the beginning of a new cycle. Or simply the inescapable: "Dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return".
